Additionally, Dr. Borek is the author of over 80 educational and popular articles in the fields of diet and health, of which the most notable is titled, Maximize Your Health-Span with Antioxidants, a science-based book for the non-scientist. |

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a doctorate in Pharmacognosy, Dr. Farnsworth also earned an M.S. degree in Pharmacy (microbiology) and a B.S. degree in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. His original research publications number over 500 and have established him as a botanicals expert in both the national and international communities. He has been a member of the World Health Organization (WHO) Expert Advisory Panel on Traditional Medicine since 1979, and also serves as the Director of the UIC/NIH (National Institutes of Health) Center for Botanical Dietary Supplements Research. |
